Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about converting video to audio with Vaudify.
What video formats are supported?
Vaudify accepts most common video formats, including MP4, MOV, AVI, MKV, WebM, and WMV. If your file can be played in a standard video player, it will almost certainly work. The output is always a high-quality MP3.
Will my files be stored on your servers?
No. Your video file is uploaded temporarily for conversion only. As soon as your MP3 is delivered to your browser, both the original video and the converted audio file are permanently deleted from our servers. We never store, analyze, or share your files.
How large can my file be?
The current file size limit is 500 MB per file. This is enough for most videos up to roughly an hour in length at standard quality. If you have a larger file, try compressing it first or trimming it to the section you need.
How many files can I convert at once?
You can convert up to 3 files per batch. Upload them together and Vaudify will convert each one sequentially. When all conversions are done, you can download each MP3 individually or grab them all as a single ZIP file.
Is Vaudify free to use?
Yes — Vaudify is 100% free to use.
What quality is the output MP3?
Vaudify extracts audio at 192 kbps, which is a high-quality setting suitable for music, podcasts, lectures, and most other audio content. The output quality is limited by the audio in the original video — we cannot improve audio that was recorded at low quality.
Do I need to create an account?
No account is needed to use Vaudify. Just upload your video and download your MP3 — no sign-up required. Accounts will be available in the future for Pro users who want to save and manage their converted files.
Is it safe to upload my videos?
Yes. Files are transferred over an encrypted HTTPS connection and are immediately deleted after conversion. No one at Vaudify ever accesses your files, and they are never shared with third parties. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
How long does conversion take?
Most conversions finish in a few seconds to a minute, depending on the file size and your internet connection speed. Larger files or slow uploads will take longer. You'll see a progress indicator while the conversion is underway.
